To commence my showcase I thought that the first card I should display is my lovely Fly Fishing Birthday Card. I made this card for a dear friend who is fanatical about fly fishing. The flies on the card are real flies that I purchased from my local fishing shop. The paper was a lucky piece I discovered at my local scrapbooking shop and was perfect for the project. This was a card that for very little effort returned 10 fold. The card was awarded a Highly Commended in the Card Craft section of the 2008 Melbourne Royal Show.
